Editing a Resolution Reason

Administrators have the ability to add a resolution reason for servicers, outsourcers, or REO/vendor outsourcers to select when conducting invoice resolutions. Use this feature to modify the status of a resolution reason.

4786_note This feature is only available to users configured to the Manage Resolutions permission group.

  1. On the toolbar, point to Client Setup, Reason Code Maintenance, then click Resolution Reason.

    The Manage Resolution Action Reasons screen appears.

  2. Click View Report.

    The Resolution Action Reasons Report appears.

  3. In the Action Type(s) list box, select an action type and status you want to modify.
  4. Click Search.

    The Resolution Action Reasons Report appears.

  5. Click Edit for the action type you want to modify.

    The Edit Resolution Reason window appears.

  6. In the Associate with Action Type drop-down list, select another action type.
  7. Do one of the following if necessary:
    • To activate the resolution reason, select Activated.
    • To inactivate the resolution reason, select Deactivated.
  8. Click Save.
