Adding a Resolution Reason

Servicers, outsourcers, or REO/vendor outsourcers can select a resolution action and reason when adding a resolution. Use this feature to manage and add resolution reasons for invoice resolutions.

4786_note This feature is only available to users configured to the Manage Resolutions permission group.

  1. On the toolbar, point to Client Setup, Reason Code Maintenance, then click Resolution Reason.

    The Manage Resolution Action Reasons screen appears.

  2. In the Resolution Reason text box, type a resolution reason.
  3. From the Associate with Action Type(s) list, select a resolution action type to associate with your new resolution reason.

    4786_note If you select All, the new resolution reason is activated for all the action types available to the user. If you select an individual action type, the new resolution reason is activated for that action type available to the user.

  4. Click Add.

    The resolution reason is added to the Resolution Action Reasons report.
