Deleting Business Rule Sets

For a better understanding of the relationships between rule types, rule sets and rules, see Business Rule Engine Overview.

Exercise extreme caution when you delete rule sets. Once a rule set is deleted, all rules under the deleted rule set are removed automatically and cannot be recovered. If you only need to delete a single rule, see Deleting Business Rules instead. An alternative to deleting a rule set is to assign the rule set an inactive state. See Activating and Deactivating Business Rule Sets for more information.

Navigate to the business rules engine you want to configure.
A list of rule types appears.
For the rule type you want to configure, click the corresponding Type Name link.
The Manage Rule Sets screen appears.
For the rule set you want to delete, click the Delete link.
A confirmation message appears.
Click OK.

When managing the BRE, you can click the View History link to review all activities performed on the BRE item.
