Unlocking an Invoice

To perform the following steps, you must be assigned to the Invoice Locking permission group. Contact your company's system administrator for more details.

Administrators with the Invoice Locking Admin permission group also have to ability to unlock an invoice.

1. Do one of the following to locate the invoice:
   • Search for the invoice
   • Open the invoice from the Locked Invoice Report.

     The Invoice Detail screen appears.

2. Click the Unlock Invoice link.

   The Invoice Unlocking page appears.

3. Type a reason for unlocking the invoice.
4. Click Unlock.

   The Invoice Detail screen appears.

   The Unlock Invoice link becomes the Lock Invoice link and the Lock icon no longer appears next to the invoice number.
