Routing an Invoice

  1. Locate the invoice you want to route by either performing a Search or by working a queue.

    The Invoice Detail screen appears.

  2. Click the Route link.

4786_note When the Route link displays in red text, this indicates an active route already exists on the invoice. See Recalling a Routed Invoice Initiated by You and Responding to an Invoice Routed to You for the options available on invoices with active routing activity.

    The Route window appears.

  3. Click Route.

    The Route Add window appears.

  4. Select a user from the Route To drop-down list.

4786_note The field Route To Servicer is available for outsourcers. This field allows outsourcers to route an invoice to a servicer that is associated with the loan number on the invoice. After the route is complete, the invoice appears in the Servicer's Pending Routes queue.

  5. Select a reason for the route from the Reason drop-down list.
  6. In the Comments field, type a message as needed.
  7. If you want to e-mail a notice to the user receiving the routed invoice, select the Auto Email Routee check box.

4786_note If this option is not available, contact your system administrator about setting up e-mail addresses per user. The user will receive an e-mail notice every day until they respond to the routed invoice (see Responding to an Invoice Routed to You).

  8. Click Add.

The Invoice Route window appears with the routed invoice listed.
