Managing Audit Queues

4786_note You must be assigned to the Invoice Audit permission group to manage Audit queues.

Depending on the roles defined in your company, either the Audit Administrator or the Audit Manager may be responsible for managing the audit queue.

Audit Administrator

The audit administrator identifies who the audit manager and auditor will be, assigns permissions, and sets up audit defaults for the Audit queue. Default criteria can pinpoint specific departments, vendors or regions of invoices for the auditor. The Audit Administrator role is responsible for setting up all administrative functions for the audit including:

Audit Manager

The Audit Manager role is responsible for managing the audit queue. This includes setting the audit schedule, choosing days of the week for the system to pull invoices for audit, and setting up any additional criteria for audit.

4786_note It is possible for a user to perform dual roles.

Example: The Audit Manager could be also be responsible for auditing invoices, and therefore would take a dual role as the Manager and Auditor (this would require a different set of permissions for the Manager). Or the Audit Administrator could also perform the Audit Manager role (this would also require a different set of permissions).
