Passwords and Timeout Conventions

InvoicingSM requires adherence to strict security measures to keep sensitive data secure.

Passwords

The following password guidelines apply for InvoicingSM:

Passwords must be a minimum of eight characters and include three of the following:
- uppercase letters (A-Z)
- lowercase letters (a-z)
- numerals (1-9)
- special characters such as (!,$,#,%,<,>)
Passwords should not be common words.
If your browser prompts you to remember your password, answer No.
Your administrator password is scheduled to expire every 30 days. At that time, you are prompted and required to change your password.
You can only reuse a password if it is not one of your last 12 created and the number of days set by your company administrator has elapsed.

Timeouts

The following system timeout conventions apply for InvoicingSM:

Once you are signed in, your session times out if there is no activity for 20 minutes.
Regardless of activity, InvoicingSM times out after 10 hours. If you are working in the application, you must sign in again to continue work.
