Creating Reminder Messages

You can create a reminder message to a servicer, outsourcer, vendor, or REO outsourcer.

  1. On the toolbar, point to Loan Level and click Reminder Messages.

    The Loan Level - Reminder Messages search filters appear.

  2. Click Add New.

    An Add a New Reminder Message window appears.

  3. Do one of the following:
    • To set the reminder to appear when an invoice related to a department is viewed, select a department from the Department drop-down list.
    • To set the reminder to appear when a particular vendor or REO outsourcer opens an invoice, select a vendor or REO outsourcer from the Vendor drop-down list. Only active vendors and REO outsourcers appear in the drop-down.
    • To set the reminder to appear when a particular servicer or outsourcer opens an invoice, select a servicer or outsourcer from the Servicer drop-down list. Only active servicers and outsourcers appear in the drop-down.
  4. From the Reminder Display options, select one of the following options:
    • Selected Vendor Only - Only the vendor or REO outsourcer selected from the Vendor drop-down list receives the reminder message.
    • Selected Servicer Only - Only the servicer or outsourcer selected from the Servicer drop-down list receives the reminder message.
    • Both Vendor and Servicer - The vendor selected from the Vendor drop-down list and the servicer selected from the Servicer drop-down list receive the reminder message.
  5. To set the reminder to appear for invoices related to a particular loan, type a loan number in the Loan No. field. If the loan number is linked to multiple properties, you must select the property to which the reminder message applies.
  6. In the Popup Message field, type the reminder message.
  7. If necessary, in the Deactivation Date field, modify the default deactivation date.
  8. Click Create.
