Invoicing Servicer Administrator |
Availability of administrative functions in InvoicingSM is controlled by giving users access to particular groups. Groups are made up of one or more permissions, which are tasks that a user can perform.
System Groups
Some groups are predefined and designated as system groups. You cannot change predefined system groups. Super administrators and servicer administrators with appropriate permissions can create additional company-specific groups with permissions that meet your needs. After creation of a group, you can assign permissions to the group.
Permission Conflicts
An important process of managing security involves making sure some groups and their permissions stay mutually exclusive. For example, to ensure users are never given the ability to both create and approve invoices, you make sure the two groups that allow such actions are kept mutually exclusive.
Users
After setting up permission groups, you must assign users to those permission groups. Users inherit the permissions of each group to which they are assigned. Users can be assigned to more than one permission group as long as there are no permission conflict settings among the groups.
